American soprano Anna Davidson is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music. Recent engagements include the world premiere of Rene Orth’s A Dialogue Between Death and Youth at Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, Arnold Schönberg Pierrot Lunaire with the Asturias Symphony Orchestra in Spain, and Dorinda in Händel`s Orlando with Brisbane Baroque.

She has performed with Gotham Chamber Opera, The New World Symphony, The Castleton Festival, and The Princeton Festival. As well as a Masters of Music degree from the Curtis Institute of Music, Anna also has a Bachelor’s of Music degree from the Juilliard School in New York.

Anna Davidson performed a variety of roles, including: The Queen of the Night in the Magic Flute.

Giulietta in I Capuleti e i Montecchi, Hilda Mack in Henze’s Elegy for Young Lovers, Daphne is Handel’s Apollo and Daphne, The Rooster in The Cunning Little Vixen, Sofia in Rossini’s Il Signor Bruschino, Thérèse/Tiresias in Les Mamelles de Tiresias, Lisa in La Sonnambula, and Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia.

As a fan of Contemporary and 20th century music she performed Davies’ Miss Donnithorne’s Maggot, Crumb’s Ancient Voices of Children and Foss’ Time Cycle. She also performed Pierrot Lunaire with Curtis 20/21 under the tutelage of Eighth Blackbird.
