Richard Helm
The Austrian Baritone Richard Helm studied chant and Opera at the Conservatories in Vienna and Zurich and attended Masterclasses with Meinard Kraak, Margreet Honig, Helena Lazarska and Heidi Brunner. As a concert singer, his repertoire ranges from baroque to the Modern music.
During his studies, he performed at Sirene Opera Festival for contemporary art music in Vienna and at the Summer of Operettes.
He also performed as Papageno in Mozarts The Magic Flute, Guglielmo in Così fan tutte and as Gianni Schicchi in Puccini’s one-act opera of the same name. He also worked with the baroque orchestra La Risonanza in the Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam for performing in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas and performed at Concertgebouw Brügge, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genua and at the Händelfestpiele in Halle.
